In 1987, the founder Mr. He Fahui and Ms. Ying Meiwei rented the site of the original township central primary school to start a business, which was destined to be closely related to the education industry from its inception.

In 1991, Huajie Stationery Factory was established and the Sifang School Equipment brand was founded.

In 2001, the 100000-square-meter new factory area in Wuyi was put into use and became a designated enterprise by the Education Department of Zhejiang Province.

In 2002, Zhejiang Huimei Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. was established and the "Huimei" trademark was registered.

In 2003, the first specialized steel and wooden doors for schools were produced. In the same year, the overseas business unit was established and began to expand into the international market.

In 2006, became a senior supplier of furniture for the International Committee of the Red Cross and United Nations organizations. Actively participating in international humanitarian aid, providing high-quality educational furniture to schools around the world that are suffering from poverty, war, natural disasters, and epidemics, so that children in need can also have equal access to education.

In 2008/2010, after the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12th, Huimei assisted in the reconstruction of several schools in the disaster area. After the Yushu earthquake on April 14th, Huimei actively assisted in the reconstruction of schools in the disaster area.

In 2010, the Beijing branch was established and officially became a foreign aid execution enterprise of the Ministry of Commerce, participating in the "Belt and Road" national strategy.

In 2014, Huimei participated in the development of the national standard GB/T3976-2014 for desks and chairs, which was first issued by the provincial administration for industry and commerce.

In 2016/2019, we established a Shanghai branch and set up a marketing center in the East China region. We participated in the drafting of the Zhejiang manufacturing standard "Student Apartment Beds" T/ZZB0936-2019 and aligned with industrial standards from developed countries.

In 2020, Rongguang became a national high-tech enterprise and a hidden champion in the industry, with its brand value continuing to rise.

In 2021, a Dongguan branch was established and a marketing center for the South China region was set up. Participated in the drafting of the national industry new standard QB/T4071-2021 for desks and chairs. The Huimei design team won 1 Italian A Design Award, 3 European Design Awards (including the highest gold award), and 2 Chicago Design Awards, promoting the design concept of Chinese educational furniture to the world.

In 2022, a joint design and research center for educational furniture products will be established with the Industrial Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology, a key university, and a postdoctoral workstation will be set up. Becoming the first educational equipment manufacturing enterprise in China to have an ergonomic laboratory, a human-computer interaction research and development center, and a postdoctoral workstation.
